This role will be responsible for leading content development across key portfolios, from inception to publication and beyond- including:
- Identifying and researching opportunities;
- Commissioning, managing and negotiating with content creators;
- Managing quality assurance;
- Overseeing production and technology development activities; and managing and continually seeking to improve a product post-launch based on meaningful metrics.
You will need to thoroughly research and test ideas and present them confidently to our clients and internal teams. You will develop close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the continued success of a new product. You will follow a user-focused, best-practice approach to developing relevant and high-quality content in a variety of media, and deliver it in the most appropriate format.
You will have experience in a client-facing role and must be commercially minded and passionate about publishing and delivering content in a digital age. You will enjoy immersing yourself in new industries and developing a deep understanding of our users in order to create products that best fit their needs. The content development manager will oversee a portfolio of work and will manage several projects at once. You should therefore have a proven track record in delivering projects to agreed time, cost and quality measures and will be able to prioritise effectively. You will enjoy finding innovative and creative solutions to publishing problems and be passionate about developing an exciting, forward-looking publishing strategy that meets the needs of our clients and their customers. Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal - are essential.
We are looking for someone creative and passionate about publishing and delivering content in a digital age. You will have great attention to detail and be an articulate and confident communicator and presenter. You will have previous experience in multimedia publishing and content development, and a proven understanding of how to effectively monetise content and exploit the opportunities of digital publishing.
- Content Writing: 3 years (Preferred)
