Night Security /Concierge Worker – No Second Night Out London £20,549 - £21,514pa Permanent / 37.5 hours per week Night /Security Concierge Worker x4 Location: Shepherd’s Bush, Brent 37.5hrs per week* *Working 4 x night shifts on, followed by 4 x nights off The No Second Night Out (NSNO) service focuses on helping people who are new to rough sleeping on the streets of London. The service works to help them off the streets quickly and through our assessment hubs, help them find alternative accommodation so that they don’t have to rough sleep for a second night. In this role you’ll be responsible for providing first contact and safeguarding clients at night, including dealing with emergencies. You’ll undertake regular health and safety checks on patrols and through monitoring the CCTV system. You will also report on any incidents or maintenance issues and communicate any concerns or events to the rest of the team. As such, we require someone who has good communication skills and an understanding of the issues that affect vulnerable clients. You will need to be able to interact in a positive and friendly manner with clients, and be passionate about working in a service that supports vulnerable adults. You should have a basic level of numeracy and literacy skills and the ability to use your initiative; to identify the appropriate action to take in various situations. You’ll also be expected to be punctual, awake and alert at all times during your shift and act with integrity, within our policies and procedures.
