Our client is recruiting for a Communications Manager to effectively develop and deliver high-impact internal communications.
As an organisation they support over 130,000 children and families every year, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, putting their needs, wishes and feelings first and ensuring their voice is heard at the heart of family court proceedings.
Our client is also a high-performing organisation as demonstrated by their recent ‘Outstanding’ rating from Oftsted, only the 4th national organisation to receive this rating and is testament to their culture of continuous improvement.
This key role is a part of our client’s small but talented Communications Team. Reporting directly to the Head of Communications you will play a significant part in developing and implementing the internal communications strategy. This includes changing how we collaborate and manage information as an organisation and driving this project forward.
Other responsibilities include engaging staff with the refreshed national strategy. A track record of bringing creative ideas for new channels and campaigns, with a strong focus on insight and evaluation, is essential. You will need to be confident in advising senior staff.
Our client is seeking an outstanding communicator with excellent written and oral communication skills. Further to this you will have experience of external communications and will have the ability to make effective linkages between internal and external. You will be a team player, drawing on all resources available while taking ownership for delivering your work.
In addition, you must be educated to a degree level or a relevant professional communications qualification or equivalent experience. You will have knowledge of the public sector, ideally within the social care sector or family justice sector.
