We're currently looking for a Commercial Development Manager to join the Experian Digital business unit on a full time, permanent basis. This is a brilliant opportunity for a strategically minded, entrepreneurial individual to build upon our success to date and maximise the extensive opportunities ahead. In summary we're looking for a Commercial Development Manager that will work with the Commercial Development Director to execute our go-forward commercial strategy for price comparison with partners across all potential sectors which today includes Cards, Loans, Mortgages, Current Accounts, Auto Finance, Savings and Energy.
Experian Digital includes HD Decisions, RunPath and Castlight, and our purpose is to develop integrated technology solutions and propositions that make applying for and using financial services easier for the consumer.
Experian Digital plays a pivotal role in consumer price comparison, effectively connecting consumers, service providers and price comparison distributors to achieve the best outcomes. Our capabilities are significant and proven. Today we operate complete "Price Comparison in a box" services on behalf of partners as a regulated service provider as well as flexible variants of such tailored to the requirements of others. Developing, managing and optimising our; panel of service providers, performance and approach across sectors is probably the crucial element to our ongoing success.
You'll be responsible for:
• Leading the commercial performance for the Experian Digital commercial panels.
• Contribute to the overall creation/ development and execution of the strategy and roadmap
• Hitting monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets.
• Building and growing relationships with our lenders, service providers and partners, both new and existing
• Leading team resources across sales, operations and product to achieve required goals
• Negotiating major contracts with partners, working with our legal team
• Using market expertise to develop the strategy for emerging verticals such as Current Accounts, Auto Finance etc.
• Working with the sales and marketing teams to ensure we are speaking to our customers about the right things, at the right time.
Could this role be for you?
We're looking for an experienced Commercial /Partnerships individual with an entrepreneurial outlook who is target driven, always inquisitive and has the commercial acumen to effectively connect the market opportunities with our capabilities. You will be someone who thinks big and is well practised in developing go-to-market strategy and execution with proven results. A people person who can work collaboratively with partners and our internal teams to get things done. Analytically minded, you will enjoy using your skills to turn data and numbers into a clear "so what" which can inform business and partner decisions. A good negotiator, comfortable working in a commercial and legal framework to execute and manage contracts with large scale clients.
You should currently be working in a sales/ commission based environment, and be successful in hitting stretch goals, whilst balancing multiple priorities
You will have a detailed understanding of the Price comparison market, and have a broad understanding of the core verticals we are operating in. Knowledge of these verticals gained through a Financial Services background is essential, and an understanding of the Utilities market will be a distinct advantage.
You'll succeed in this role by effectively engaging the right stakeholders in our clients, the industry and internally. It's important that you can work to your own initiative and contribute your learning and ideas to shape the strategy of Experian Digital.
