SCOPE OF ROLE: Assist the Trading Manager and liaise with the E-commerce team to produce the online trading plan including; promotional plan, product category and SKU priority, and new content. Brief the creative teams on trading emails/content changes for all Yours Clothing ecommerce web sites (includes international, excluding Bad Rhino) in line with the Trading plans. Assist in trading initiatives across the online business to ensure the Yours brand remains competitive in the marketplace but retaining the core brand values. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in planning and maintaining the trading calendar based around key events, themes and seasons including planning the promotional calendar. Ensure this is a detailed planned for 4 weeks out and outlined planned for 13 weeks out and includes all the online activity with any key retail campaigns included. Lead the planning and briefing of the trading communications to customers into the ecommerce design team. Ensure these briefs are within the agree template brand guidelines. Develop the templates for approval. Assist in the email marketing strategy for both the UK and International markets in order to monitor and improve performance of the channel. This is to include content, creative, testing, segmentation and targeting. Ensure these plans are reflected in a mobile FIRST strategy in terms of design/priority Assist in delivering the digital assets (both product and content) where required for the web site via internal or external resources and work closely with the Retail team to align timetables. Assist in the promoting of best-selling lines or other priorities accordingly online and in email Assist in achieving a target conversion rate of >5% for when traffic/customers hit the site. Assist in recommending conversion optimisation initiatives. Assist in the analysis and optimisation plans using the site analytics to ensure conversion optimisation and cash targets per homepage/landing performance. Liaise with B&M where required to understand range development plans. Assist in the reporting of homepage, landing page and site performance metrics to ensure optimum click-through and conversion across the site. Work with the Trading Manager to deliver profitability, sales and margin targets. Assist in the budgetary process and updates to the quarterly updates with the database team. Deputise for the Trading Manager in their absence Work closely with the entire ecommerce team ensuring all are fully informed of planned trading calendar initiatives and that they are delivered with the team. Be aware of new brand/product launches and plan these into the trading calendar in due course. Work with external providers e.g. Email provider. Liaise with the retail team to ensure they are briefed regarding initiatives online and towards making the customer experience across channels is seamless. Liaise with the Creative team to ensure creative delivered is to brief and works across all devices with emphasis on mobile first.
