Kier leads the eMBED Health Consortium and delivers services to NHS in Yorkshire and Humber. The consortium provides a range of commissioning support services including ICT, business intelligence, and procurement supporting the region’s CCGs, who are responsible for putting in place healthcare services to meet the needs of people across the Yorkshire and Humber region. eMBED also delivers services to NHS England and other NHS organisations in the region, which includes the delivery of ICT services to the region’s GP practices.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Clinical Application Support Officer/Trainer. The post holder will act as a SystmOne and/or EmisWeb product specialist and provide training, advice, system configuration, data quality and application support to supported organisations. The role is based in York and will involve working in conjunction with the rest of the IMT team in the provision of high quality training, advice and project support both at eMBED bases and on customer sites across the North Yorkshire region and, on occasion, across the Yorkshire and Humber region.
You should have experience of delivering training or support to clinical system users and experience of working with either SystmOne or EmisWeb. You should have excellent communication and presentation skills in order to be able to communicate complex information to a non-complex audience and you should have excellent customer service skills. Experience of working in the NHS would be advantageous.
Good skills in the use of Microsoft Office are essential and a recognised training qualification would be desirable.
