Title: Property Claims Specialist – Field Support Division: Claims Solutions Location: Banding: 3 Contract: Permanent Closes On: Monday 03 December 2018 Overview: To provide full support of our Field/Adjusting proposition. The role involves building close working relationships with Adjusters, key clients & suppliers. Responsible for providing a first class customer experience through proactive claims management. Assisting the Operations Manager and Team Leader in developing the skills and abilities of the FAST team. Providing coaching and mentoring to team members and assisting the continuous development of FAST processes and procedures. Key Responsibilities: • Ownership of internal processes within the Team ensuring these are challenged and updated where appropriate with agreement from the management team. • Managing outstanding caseloads for adjusters, ensuring appropriate claim progression and manage own WIP allocation as required. • Responsible for appropriate supplier management and escalations where required. • Ensure the accuracy of information recorded in the database across multiple systems. • Support the management team in achieving service standards, company and contractual requirements. • Compose proficient letters and short format Adjuster reports and support the wider team in their development in this area. • Provide high quality and professional assistance when dealing with telephone calls, correspondence and internal support. • Handle verbal and written complaints in line with DG and Client Complaint Handling Guidelines. • Keep up to date with client philosophies, processes and ensure revenue generation is maximised. Where appropriate working with the management team to update and amend processes and philosophies and communicate these within the team. • Adapt to the constantly changing requirements of the department and the company and perform additional tasks as may be required. • Demonstrate DG values every day Skills/Qualities: • Analytical & Objective thinker • Communication skills (written and verbal) • Professional Insurance Qualification • Forward thinking with ability to manage varied workloads • Computer literate and strong keyboard skills • Organisational and task prioritisation skills Are you a Davies Person?
