SCOPE OF ROLE: Work and coordinate with the E-commerce Director and E-commerce team to devise the BadRhino online trading plan, content and user experience including the promotional plan, product category and SKU priority, and content/social plans for BadRhino online. Responsible for driving the online sales for BadRhino and optimising the multichannel opportunity alongside BadRhino/Yours Clothing stores. Lead trading initiatives across the BadRhino online business to ensure the brand remains competitive in the marketplace but retains it’s core brand values. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Achieving the online sales targets for BadRhino. Planning and maintaining the trading calendar based around key events, themes and seasons including planning the promotional calendar. Ensure this is a detailed planned for 4 weeks out and outlined planned for 13 weeks out and includes all the online activity with any key retail campaigns included. Plan and brief the trading communications to customers into the ecommerce design team. Ensure these briefs are within the agree template brand guidelines. Develop the templates for approval. Ensure these plans are reflected in a mobile FIRST strategy in terms of design/priority Deliver the digital assets (both product and content) required for the web site via internal or external resources and work closely with the Retail team to align timetables. Work with BadRhino’s B&M and the founder to ensure that a clear understanding of the best-selling lines or other priority are promoted accordingly online and in email Ensure the functional specification and customer proposition in the new platform is built to consider all the trading possibilities that are planned. Hit a target conversion rate of >5% for when traffic/customers hit the site. Achieve this through a slick user journey and best practice e-commerce. Recommend conversion optimisation initiatives with detailed cost and benefit analysis. Analysis and optimisation plans using the site analytics to ensure conversion optimisation and cash targets per homepage/landing performance. Review the cash and click through target for each main link and take appropriate action to increase/optimise this. Work with BadRhino’s B&M to understand range development plans. Assist in planning segmentation of the database to optimise product and campaign management with the Database team. Reporting of homepage, landing page and site performance metrics to ensure optimum click-through and conversion across the site. Assist in the budgetary process and updates to the quarterly updates with the database team. Grow BadRhino online into the German and other rest of the world markets. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Work closely with the entire ecommerce team including the data team ensuring all the fully informed of planned trading calendar initiatives. Work closely with B&M on range planning and stock allocation. Be aware of new brand/product launches and plan these into the trading calendar in due course. Work with external providers e.g. Email provider. Work closely with the retail team to ensure they are briefed regarding initiatives online and towards making the customer experience across channels as seamless as possible.
