IT Change Analyst Location: Newport City Centre Head Office Salary: From £27,000 per annum depending on experience Closing Date: Tuesday 08 January 2019 Monmouthshire Building Society currently have two vacancies for Change Analysts. Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, the role will provide oversight and governance in the delivery of the Society’s IT projects and strategic goals. As an IT Change Analyst you will be involved in the design and development of new services and operational projects, translating logical designs into physical design, taking account of the business. In addition you will be provide advice and guidance to management on the design and planning phases of IT systems to ensure that requirements (particularly capacity, recovery, performance and security needs) are reflected in the overall specification. Key Responsibilities will include: Interfacing with designers and planners from external suppliers and service providers, ensuring all external IT services are designed to meet their agreed service levels and targets Develop cost analysis and negotiate implementation timelines with technical team Oversee implementation, coordinate tests and observe initiation of the system to validate performance Create and maintain test plans and report on test execution Build detailed software delivery plans and track efforts against plan to deliver on committed dates. Mitigate risk to projects by understanding both overall project and IT delivery dependencies. Show ownership to ensure successful IT delivery from a time, quality and budget perspective. Day-to-day oversight and management of changes within the IT change management process. Ensuring changes are moved through the lifecycle and the necessary assessment/approval is carried out Log and analyse all required measurements (KPIs). Accurately report on measurements to support management reporting Effective integration and interaction with all support and delivery teams Identifying and implementing continuous improvements, and innovative solutions which positively impact the client and the customer’s businesses. The successful candidate will be educated to degree level and/or with equivalent experience and will have experience in the delivery of IT projects and change Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people, with a the ability to anticipate needs and requirements and problem solve. Proficiency with industry standard project management, change management, quality assurance and technical documentation tools such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Team, Services Test Manager, JIRA, Madcap, Flare, or PRINCE2 are also desirable for this role.
