An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Catering Assistant to join our professional Catering team at the Oaks Hospital. The role will involve working in the ward pantry and the hospital restaurant, where duties will include taking orders, preparing and serving food and drinks for patients, staff and visitors, keeping the working area up to our 5 star hygiene standards, washing up and adhering to all food safety legislation, completing paperwork and liaising with Chefs and nursing staff.
The successful candidate will be required to work 4 shifts a week which will include weekends and occasional evenings as and when business dictates.
Candidates will need excellent customer service skills, be able to work effectively within a team and on their own, previous food service experience is desirable, although full training will be given.
