C# .Net Developer
Employment status: 2-year contract, full time, 37 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a candidate who is experienced with .NET, C#, Linq, MVC and Razor as a minimum, who has examples of previous work either completed commercially or as personal projects using these technologies. The candidate must be capable of taking ownership of development tasks that will add further functionality to an already ‘live’ Software as a Service platform. They will work on behalf of multiple teams and stakeholders, and have a desire for innovation and to learn new skills.
Location Based at CIMSPA’s head office, SportPark, Loughborough with flexible working and requirement for occasional travel within the UK.
C# .Net Developer Salary and benefits:
•Salary range: £40,000 - £45,000 Per Annum
•25 days annual leave per year (pro rata) / currently trialling unlimited holidays.

Responsible to IT Project Manager
Job Role Primary duties and responsibilities:
RECOGNITION & INTEGRITY
•To be working with an experienced development team to build and test new functionality.
•To produce robust, testable code.
RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT & INTERPERSONAL COLLABORATION
•Present feature demonstrations to non-technical staff and training to the invested teams.
•Systems analysis with emphasis on cross-departmental collaborative working. LEADERSHIP
•Use your initiative to ‘do the right thing’ within CIMSPA’s best interests.
•Lead within your role supporting the IT Project Manager in developing CIMSPA’s IT capabilities.
CUSTOMER FOCUSED
•To systematically analyse problems and provide solutions.
•Provide 2nd and 3rd level support to customer service team (via Zendesk).
•Deliver exemplar customer service to all stakeholders. SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
•Support CIMSPA as an organisation to successfully achieve its strategy.
•As and when necessary actively support the wider CIMSPA team.
Skills, experience and qualifications:
Essential skills / experience / knowledge Experience in:
•.NET inc. ASP Razor and MVC 5 using Linq (Fluent Syntax)
•C#
Skills in:
•Proven C# / .NET development portfolio (equal value to knowledge of both skills).
•Writing detailed technical and functional specification documentation.
•Understanding of multiple browser compatibility and testing.
•Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
•Attention to detail.
•Ability to work autonomously.
•Customer orientated.
•Ability to prioritise workload while being adaptable and flexible.
•Team player.
Desirable skills / experience / qualifications / professional membership
Experience in:
•SCSS
•WebSockets.
•Bootstrap
•Agile methodologies.
•Understanding of financial integration into CRM functions.
Exposure to:
•AWS virtualisation platforms.
Qualifications and professional membership:
•CIMSPA or another professional body membership.
•Degree or equivalent experience.
•C# / .NET qualification.
•Maths based A-Level.
