Business, Tourism and Social Sciences Tutor - Kaplan International
Brighton
About the Job
Do you have the ability to bring your subject to life? Would you enjoy helping international students to build confidence and become independent learners?
We are recruiting a Business, Tourism & Social Sciences Tutor to join our existing teaching team. You will be responsible for teaching a range of modules in Business and/or Tourism and/or Social Sciences (including Accounting & Finance, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Organisational Behaviour, Social Science, and Tourism) to students in Foundation Certificate, International Year One or Pre-master’s programmes. It is likely that the role will comprise a mixture of online and face to face teaching, during the current Covid 19 restrictions, however, the normal place of work is at the college in Brighton. All face to face teaching will happen at the college.
The University of Brighton International College (UBIC) is located on the south coast of England in a lively and vibrant city with famous beaches, piers, tourist attractions and boutique shops. Surrounded by the South Downs on one side and the sea on the other, and only 50 minutes away from London by train, Brighton is the perfect UK destination no matter what you are looking for. UBIC is a highly successful college, working in close partnership with the University of Brighton, each year sending highly motivated and dedicated students onto a wide portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. Our students are part of a diverse, dynamic and creative community based across two sites within the city and every member of staff at UBIC is committed to their academic success and welfare.
At the heart of our educational approach is a belief in supporting students to become independent, motivated learners who will thrive in higher education. We’re particularly interested in attracting committed teaching professionals who are passionate about their subject, open to incorporating technology into their teaching delivery and interested in finding new ways of bringing a curriculum to life.
