Job Title: Course Leader - Bricklaying
Salary: £25,856 - £29,112 (plus Golden Hello totalling £4,638 - subject to T&Cs)
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Bricklaying Lecturer to join our professional construction team based at our Stephen Burke Construction Academy in Swadlincote. You will teach, assess, and monitor full time and Apprentice students engaged in Level programmes from levels 1 to 3, support and facilitate student learning, and liaise closely with management and other departments. As part of this role you may also be required to deliver part-time evening courses.
Industrial and commercial experience within the bricklaying industry is essential, along with an understanding and knowledge of NVQ systems and operations. An appropriate teaching qualification, an Assessor award, and teaching experience would be desirable.
This role is eligible for a 'Golden Hello' of £4,638 spread over a 3 year period (subject to terms and conditions)
A payment of £1,546 will be made upon joining the organisation, followed by two additional identical payments proceeding the anniversary of employment. The two additional payments are made subject to a successful probationary period and achievement of annual personal development objectives. Payments are subject to tax and national insurance deductions.
