The UK brand team is evolving too - we want to be sure we have the right market context, insight and consumer understanding to influence NPD and EPD and help shape business strategy. We want to stand out in a compelling way by setting the blueprint for making credit simple and for helping customers succeed in their financial lives.
To achieve this, we need to have the right people.
We’re looking for someone to work with our Brand Strategy lead to drive our brand forward and help us ensure that our product articulations in-market are true to what we stand for. We need someone who’ll support strategy development and who’ll help us identify and execute on ‘white space’ opportunities.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring our products and customer journeys align to our brand promise, working closely with our Business Analyst, Product, Design and Operations Teams
You’ll always have an eye on the future and you’ll be passionate about shaping and influencing our brand vision and evolving our value proposition
You’ll be one of our brand guardians, working to ensure we maintain brand integrity across all business initiatives and communications. You’ll also craft and execute on a programme of internal communications activity to ensure our associates are connected, consulted and involved in our brand’s evolution and longer term brand vision
This would be an ideal next step for someone currently in a Brand Management or Marketing role.
Delivery of our evolved brand, embedding the principles of simplicity across the UK business
Macro, micro and internal insights analysis to influence the evolution of new and existing products and consumer experiences
Lead on market research projects to understand “the state of the nation” and emerging consumer needs and behaviours to inform business recommendations, priorities and value discussions
Think creatively about new ways to contribute to our brand vision and brand evolution journey
Develop and lead our Tone of Voice and Visual Identity execution, scoping and delivering projects, working in partnership with key internal stakeholders and a number of external agencies
Proactive business outreach activity to ensure close collaboration across multiple programmes of work to maximise opportunities, realising business and brand value in all that we do
Socialisation of key brand initiatives via appropriate associate comms and internal forums, highlighting business value and opportunity, monitoring progress, reporting impact and handling any issues that arise
Ensuring all governance and approvals are in place for relevant brand activity
Working with process and programme managers to ensure governance and approvals are in place and to identify new risks, controls and test plans to support the brand team’s well managed agenda where needed

A passion for helping us evolve our brand to create a unique, distinctive and compelling offering for consumers
A commercial approach, keen interest in the competitive landscape and results focus
Exceptional stakeholder management and networking skills and the confidence to influence senior leadership
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Attention to detail and resilience - you’ll need to be able to juggle multiple projects at any one time, (re) prioritise effectively and regularly but also maintain the highest attention to detail and accuracy
You’ll work well with diverse teams, partnering across the organisation to navigate sometimes ambiguous business context
You’ll have some experience of governance processes and be able to quickly identify risks and create relevant preventive and/or detective controls
Ideally, you’ll have brand or product management experience in Existing or New Product Development, in FMCG or a Financial / other Services category
