Salary: Negotiable dependant on experience
Hours: Hours Negotiable – (minimum 25 hours)
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant. The role will be based at their offices in Hoghton near Preston.
Whilst reporting to the company directors you will be responsible for all aspects of book keeping and payroll duties.
•Book keeping using Sage 50 Accounts
•Accounts administrative duties
•Weekly payroll on Sage and all associated online submissions
•Purchase and sales ledger control
•Assistance with budgeting / cash flow forecasting
•Assistance with quarterly management accounts
•Any other ad hoc tasks that may be required
The Ideal Candidate:
•To be suited to this role you will have a proactive and flexible approach to work
•Strong communication skills
•Able to work autonomously within your role.
•A good working knowledge of Sage is essential
•AAT qualified or equivalent is preferred.
Working in an office of 5, you will be the only person in Finance with support from the company directors and external Accountant. You must be an experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant who is dynamic, has experience working in an SME and is open to implementing new procedures/processes/systems to a growing business.
