CDG is seeking to appoint a Bartender to join its team at Heathrow. The purpose of this role is to provide excellent levels of service to all customers and to assist your colleagues by providing excellent drinks and service in line with brand, menu and legal standards/specification.
As a Bartender your key responsibilities include:
- •Preparing drinks orders as required, ensuring that alcohol is provided in the appropriate measures, and all licensing laws are adhered to.
•Being hospitable, cooperative and polite with customers and fellow floor/kitchen team members.
•Ensuring the bar area is maintained in a clean and tidy manner.
•Ensuring that your customers and colleagues receive friendly and efficient service.
•Ensuring the bar section is constantly supplied with the full range of drink menu items available.
•Maintaining bar levels to assist in monitoring of sales and avoid any unnecessary wastage.
•Using your extensive knowledge of the menu to answer customer questions.
•Selling the menu.
•Accommodating customer time restrictions through efficient preparation and delivery of drinks.
•Acting as a final check on the quality of any food and beverages before they are served.
•Assisting the management team in maintaining standards by reporting any problems in your working area.
•Informing the management team of any specific needs and requests.
•Taking responsibility and helping Duty Managers by being alert to customers waiting for tables/drinks.
•Clearing tables efficiently and professionally.
•Assisting in the training of new team members.
•Undertaking Barista training or other training provided by coffee suppliers.
•Completing cleaning duties as per cleaning rotas and instructions of Duty Manager.
•Taking responsibility for the health, safety and welfare of all customers, colleagues and self.
•Helping floor and kitchen teams and colleagues in carrying out duties to ensure an effective and efficient operation of the restaurant.
