As an Investment Banking Associate on our GC Securities team, you will assist current and prospective clients develop and execute strategic transactions. You will work with members of GC Securities and the broader Guy Carpenter organization to identify alternatives for Guy Carpenter’s clients and prospects to grow and increase profitability. You will contribute to the strategic objectives of the group, which are: enhancing the Guy Carpenter value proposition, strengthening strategic relationships with key clients, assisting in developing new relationships and generating new revenue streams. Responsibilities: Gather and synthesize financial and operating information about companies and industries Analyze detailed corporate and financial information Develop and maintain financial models Perform various financial analyses, including valuation and pro-forma analyses Develop marketing materials and present sections of client presentations Prepare presentations and other materials for both internal and external clients Participate in the due diligence processes Execute capital raising and M&A transactions Work effectively as an individual and as part of a teamQualifications 4 to 8 years of investment banking, M&A transaction experience Financial Modeling experience required Knowledge of insurance/reinsurance concepts preferred, but not required Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills - strong verbal and writing skills Open and flexible to changes in the organization and marketplace Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Willingness to travel (approximately 20% including internationally) Bachelor's Degree required Guy Carpenter & Company, LLC, a leading global risk and reinsurance specialist, has over a 90-year history of providing integrated solutions to the (re)insurance industry.
