Associate (Technical Specialist)
At Brethertons, we have created a streamlined organisation with a collaborative and cohesive culture. When you join Brethertons, you will be competitively rewarded, with a strong base salary. We aim to foster an environment of choice with clear career development paths, a focus on learning and development and a supportive structure.
We are looking to recruit an experienced qualified lawyer (Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licenced Conveyancer) within our Conveyancing team in our Banbury office into the post of Associate (Technical Specialist)
About the Role
As an Associate (Technical Specialist) and Qualified Lawyer you will be managing more complex cases proactively with minimal supervision. You will work closely with your colleagues to progress a range of Residential Conveyancing transactions from start to end, and you will be expected to complete the checking aspects of files. You will undertake specialist or technical research and analysis, support compliance, third party relationships and demonstrate effective delegation of procedural, clerical, and administrative tasks as appropriate. Whilst no employee management is required as a 'Technical Specialist', you will be expected to demonstrate good leadership and assist others in the team with more complex work on matters.
In order to be successful you must be qualified in the area of practice (either as a Solicitor, Legal Executive or as a Licenced Conveyancer). To be able to demonstrate the technical competencies required at Associate level, it is likely that you will have at least 3 years post qualification experience. You must have a robust knowledge of the legal services industry along with experience of case management and managing a portfolio of conveyancing work. You will be accountable for organising your own workload and make independent decisions relating to the area of your responsibility. You must be able to communicate effectively on every level; you are on the front line of customer communications and must set the example to other staff in the delivery of exceptional customer service. To be successful in this role you must be able to work independently and be self motivated, but also work well in a team in order for practice area goals to be met. You must be able to build strong working relationships both internally and externally.
What’s in return?
At Brethertons, we have a comprehensive reward package which includes a competitive market rate salary, pension, individual and firm wide bonus and 26 days holiday. We hold Gold Investors in People and work hard to recognise and reward the work of those within our teams.
We are excited about where Brethertons is going and would love you to join us on our journey. If this role is of interest, please contact Lucy Brown at email@example.com for more information on the role or application process, or submit your CV directly to us via our website.
