We arecurrently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role ofAssistant Manager, Systems and Decisioning, Fraud Analytics.
You will bealigned to Systems and Decisioning, Fraud Management who are responsible forestablishing and operating policies, standards, systems and other controls toprevent and detect fraud against the HSBC Group or its customers. Where fraudoccurs, the Systems and Decisioning team is responsible for optimisation andidentifying control weaknesses or failures.
Yourresponsibilities will include:
Performin-depth analysis, design, implement and monitor strategies/projects for theBanks Debit and Credit Card portfolios;
Performin-depth analysis, design, implement and monitor strategies/projects foraccount opening / originations. These will involve using multiplereferral/decisioning systems and other layered tooling to identify fraud;
Leadthe development and deployment of analytical products to manage and mitigate fraudand financial crime risk;
Interpretand manipulate large data sets to extract trends and identify issues and risk;
Monitoringfraud trends to mitigate loss while maintaining minimum genuine customerimpact, therefore providing a positive customer experience and Best Place toBank.
Developing& implementing new strategies in response to new fraud attack vectors toreduce fraud losses whilst optimising the customer experience, includingproviding feedback to relevant stakeholders on actions taken
To besuccessful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
ExistingFraud Risk / Financial Crime experience
Knowledgeof transactional and account opening processes.
Experienceof the following: tooling including device and behaviour biometric profiling,SAS EFM, Falcon, Biocatch, Hunter and Threatmetrix.
Knowledgeof using and calibrating Behaviour Biometric & Device ID tooling andExperian application tools
Relevantanalytical experience, must be proficient using and coding in SAS and/or SQL
Motivatedself-starter who has the ability to multi-task, work effectively alone andunder pressure
Excellentorganisation, inter-personal and communication skills – written and verbal
Enthusiasm,positive can-do approach
