Our Client has been established for over 19 years and is a widely recognised and regarded exclusive UK-wide distributor of a number of single ply flat roofing membranes including EPDM, TPO, liquid applied waterproofing and associated products. As a company they have seen huge growth over recent years and are rapidly growing with many new market avenues to explore. They have a great team in place and are looking to fulfil a few new roles within their sales operation, so there are many exciting opportunities ahead as they continue to expand.
The Role - Area Sales Manager
To achieve an annual area target, selling the complete range of products to all key markets sectors, such as roofing merchants, builders merchants and roofing contractors. Whilst keeping the correct sales mix and margin.
Covering Bristol to Reading and down to Southampton.
The Successful Candidate
The ideal candidate for this position is to have direct experience within the flat roofing sector, including a proven sales track record in selling into the above mentioned market place. Their successes including regularly achieving/exceeding their sales targets needs to be demonstrated on their CV. The candidate must be professional, enthusiastic and energetic and demonstrate all of the key requirements that are required for this role.
To achieve an annual area sales target, selling the complete range of products to both existing and new clients, including roofing contractors and merchant customer base.

Maintaining and increasing sales of your company's products
Attaining the quarterly sales targets (£) set for your area
Meeting the quarterly sales plan goals set for your area
Establishing, maintaining and expanding your customer base
Servicing the needs of your existing customers
Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market
Compiling and analysing sales figures
Collecting customer feedback and handling/processing complaints
Reporting to senior managers with weekly / monthly reports
Keeping up to date with products and competitors
Manage product launches, price updates and keep our customers up to date with market trends
Attend different trade shows and seminars if required to do so
Research new opportunities and keeping up to date with the market and competitor products
Be proactive within the sales team
Manage and be accountable for sales objectives, forecasts, targets & expenses
- £35,000 - £45,000 basic salary
