Area Sales Manager
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
Working Hours: Monday - Friday. 9:00AM – 5:00PM
Location: London - Field Based

The Task At Hand: You will be tasked with calling on Interior Design Practices and Architects to promote our client’s products and discuss new and ongoing projects. Their clients include some of the most well-known and prestigious Hotel companies, these typically include bespoke products made by the design and manufacturing partners. The target market is Hotels, bars and restaurants in London and the home counties, and the projects range from Michelin-starred restaurants, Boutique hotels to chains of Public Houses.
The Person: You will come from a similar background that has dealings with the intended target market and have a proven track record of success in this area, and you will also already have a book of clients that you can approach from the get-go. As the head office is based in Edinburgh this is predominately a field-based role, you will however have the opportunity to work from home as well.
What we’re looking for:
•A proven track record in external specification sales within a similar related industry selling to our core market. Decorative lighting experience is preferred but not essential.
•A good knowledge and understanding of the Hotel and Leisure supply market.
•An established core base of Designers/Architects with whom relationships have been forged over several years.
•The ability to be self-motivated and work on your own initiative and have the drive to succeed in a very competitive marketplace.
•A good working relationship will require to be established with colleagues in Edinburgh head office to help support, integrate and develop the role.
•A clean driving licence.
•Good communication and PC skills and the ability to deal with multiple projects at any given time.
•Well presented, with a professional, pleasant and can-do attitude.
