You will have a vital role in the development of the organisation and the delivery of contractual targets., in everything we do. In this strategic senior management role, you will take the lead for the following key areas of responsibility: To ensure that the Area teams deliver high quality advocacy services in line with seAp’s Business Plan, contractual and performance targets and quality standards. To manage and develop seAp’s local profile, ensuring that excellent business and community relationships are developed and maintained with a range of stakeholders to maximize business opportunities and local influence across the area. To take the lead responsibility for specific areas of activity and business need, including strategic lead on local and national legislative developments and other project work as required. Taking the lead responsibility for some of our organisational Focus Groups, and working with senior management colleagues, developing / updating our Special Operating Procedures (SOPS) and organisational policies. Maintaining our commitment to partnership working; maintaining current partnerships and developing new relationships. A proven track record of coaching, leading and managing at a senior level, combined with knowledge, development implementation and successful delivery of organisational strategies, including Volunteering and Service User Engagement as examples, is highly desirable. Ideally you will join us from the third or public sector, and you will certainly be highly IT literate, self-motivated and an excellent communicator. You will have a strong work focus, be resilient and able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the role and the organisation. Flexibility with working hours is important and will be discussed at the interview to ensure business needs are accommodated, together with the willingness to undertake training if needed. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is highly preferable for this position. You will also need access to a stable home broadband service.
