I am currently looking for an experienced Application Support Analyst (Windows/ IIS) to join a top bank based in London. The role will be a permanent role and will be working on a new project within the business.
Principal duties and responsibilities:
Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for the banks' application suite
Troubleshooting any issues that arise and implement fixes as required
Provide assistance to other IT support teams for issues
Trend recurring incidents and provide suitable long term solutions
Work closely with the Database Administrators and Storage teams in relation to incidents, capacity management & service improvements
Technical liaison with vendors as required
Provide on-call support on a regular basis, working in a shift pattern
Experienced Application Support Analyst
Windows Enterprise Operating Systems (Windows 2003 and above)
Managing web applications (IIS/Application Server Roles)
Networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
Database connection methods (Oracle, SQL)
Supporting web-based applications
Good understanding of:
Source Control Management
Scripting (especially PowerShell)
Citrix environments and application delivery via Citrix
VMWare / Virtulisation
Microsoft Dynamics CRM
