The Priory Hospital North London is recruiting for a highly experienced addiction therapist to manage their Addiction Treatment Programme (ATP).
Joining a highly respected service, the successful candidate will work alongside some of the leading Consultant Psychiatrists in the field of addiction treatment.
As part of the MDT in a Psychiatric Hospital you will be managing a team of addiction therapists and peer supporters delivering a 28 day inpatient programme and day care programme. You will be responsible for delivering a full and robust recovery programme which includes Equine Assisted Therapy, Group Therapy, DBT, Psychodrama, Mindfulness and 12 Step recovery activities. Alongside your team of permanent staff you will be responsible for a group specialist sessional therapists and smooth running of the outpatient addiction therapy service.
Ideally you will have at least five years experience working with addiciton field, some experience of managing a team and delivering Clinical Suypervision. Regular group and one to one clinical supervision is provided by the Priory for you and your team.
It is essential you have (ideally a post graduate) therapy training along with experience or knowledge of 12 Step abstinence based recovery for both substance and behavioural addicitons. Membership and accreditation with a recognised therapy governing body such as FDAP, BACP, UKCP or BABCP is a requirement of the role.
