About the Role
The role will be primarily responsible for supporting the day-to-day operational needs for the Billing and Collections team. The role holder will ensure timely and accurate output in compliance with company policy and procedures.
The role will:
•Ensure accurate, timely management of the invoicing process in line with company procedures
•Assist in preparing and maintaining financial reports as required (sales output)
•To assist in the collection of debts, giving assistance to Key Account Managers and the Operations Manager.
•To assist raising purchase orders as required correctly and promptly, assist the departments to do the same where appropriate, in accordance with appropriate instruction and in accordance with Group policy using the EPRO online system.
•To assist operations and admin departments with the coding and allocation of their invoices.
•General assistance for the Leicester office to add to the efficiency of the ICFP experience.
•To support the billing team with client rebate functions.
•Generation of credits notes in a timely manner.
•Ad hoc requests
•Ensuring compliance at all times with any local systems, rules and procedures, including any quality assurance standards (ISO 9001, ISO 17025) set by the Company and/or external certification authorities.
Hours of work are 9am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday.
Required skills and experience
•Good IT literacy skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
•Previous experience in Accounts would be advantageous
•A genuine interest in Accounts
•Experienced in preparing customer invoices & working with billing systems.
•Previous experience working in credit control (charges and collection) would be beneficial
•Previous experience of dealing with complex and challenging queries
•Previous experience of customer management (Calls, appointments, feedback, responding to queries, and recording details)
