Due to expansion our client is looking to recruit for an Account Manager to join their Metals Sales team based in Central London.
Reporting directly into the Sales Director you will be responsible for managing, growing and developing subscription / license revenue from a number of their existing accounts within Metals / Mining / Energy across EMEA.
You will be managing a large number of accounts (from 250 – 300) and look to renew / retain existing subscriptions and also to grow accounts / drive new business.
The bulk of the role will be office based with web demonstrations and you will also attend some industry related events to meet with prospects / clients for sales purposes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hungry and ambitious Account Manager or Business Development Manager who is looking to work for a market leader within Commodity Pricing / Data and develop their skillset further.
- Degree educated
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales revenue targets
- Successful track record of managing and growing key accounts through upselling / cross selling
- Experience of selling business intelligence / business information / market data or subscription solutions ideally into Energy / Metals / Mining sectors
- Experience of managing a high number of accounts – used to working in a transactional sales environment
- Excellent telephone manner and face to face presentation skills
