Our client is a leading market research and analysis firm within the Energy sector serving an extensive list of blue chip clients on a global basis. They provide comprehensive, timely and accurate research reports and datasets to support cutting edge industry analysis and strategic planning focusing on the Oil & Gas, Power & Mining sectors.
About the role of Account Manager
Due to the success of the sales team and the amount of new business coming into the company my client is looking to recruit for an additional Account Manager to join their expanding team.
As an Account Manager, your role will be the retention and growth of existing accounts, covering a range of companies across the finance, manufacturing, development and services sectors of the energy market across the EMEA region (mostly office based with web based presentations).
You will be targeted on retention and growth of your accounts and will also have a separate new business target where you will be expected to cross sell / up sell new services to existing clients and develop new business opportunities with new departments of existing clients.
To be successful in this role you must be comfortable speaking with senior level decision makers and be able to build long term relationships with clients and spot opportunities for revenue growth.

- Degree educated
- Minimum of 3 Years experience in account management – proven ability to map, develop and grow accounts
- Experience of working within Business Information / Business Intelligence / SAAS would be advantageous but not essential
- Track record of meeting and exceeding sales revenue targets
- Strong new business focus with experience of building and managing a client base using a consultative sales approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to present face to face and via webex
