What you will do
A fantastic opportunity has become available to join Johnson Controls as Key Account Manager. Main duties will be to support key facilities management contractors through growing and protecting existing project revenue. Ideally with a sales background coupled with engineering experience, you will be responsible for delivering schemes for maintenance and capital work projects . You will look after a number of existing accounts so will be responsible for managing clients proactively, seeking opportunities to tender while increasing existing revenue.
How you will do it
As Key Account Manager you take responsibility for developing and sustaining the relationship of key facilities management contractors across differing verticals. You will maintain effective relationships with each company department to ensure the best level of communication, service and response for the customer at all times. You will take ownership of the customer and their issues. You will present JCI as a credible and professional supplier of fire and security products and maintain knowledge of products and services and industry developments. You will develop and maintain account relationships and opportunity plans.
What we look for
As Key Account Manager you will ideally have experience as a successful sales executive or sales engineer and the ability to assist in the completion of fire and security project surveys for large multi-discipline opportunities. You will be customer focused working to meet their needs, and align our services. You will communicate positively, actively and consistently to internal/external colleagues and ensure the reputation of the business is reflected at all times. You will demonstrate IT literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office products and CRM software, in particular Salesforce.
