Remarkable Jobs are assisting a Global Software provider in recruiting an experienced 'Account Executive to join the dynamic team at their offices in Bristol. The role is a dual role and is a mixture of Account Management and Supporting the Field Sales team in gaining new business. The ideal candidate for this role will have sold Software as a Service (Saas) or have sold in to both Public and Private Sector Healthcare organisations (both would be even better) – Technology exposure is essential. Our client has advised that this can be a 'stepping stone' role into a Field Sales Position if desired.
Account Executive role:
•Support the achievement of the annual sales gross margin targets, as set by the Company at the outset of the financial year.
•In collaboration with the sales strategy, develop a go-to-market plan to generate and prioritise sales opportunities, working with sales and marketing team to support campaigns that will promote awareness and generate opportunities
•Protect the installed and committed revenue base from nominated client accounts.
•Generate a focused customer engagement plan that is aligned to the client’s business plan and health & care sales plan
•Build relationships with target organisations and a comprehensive view of the market opportunity
•Develop and maintain relationships with the key customer contacts
•Resolve client issues and take ownership of relationship and revenue.
•Run telesales campaigns in accordance with the agreed plan, produce leads and follow up on a systematic basis.
•In conjunction with sales and business development consultants, prepare correspondence for potential customers, based on generic national campaigns and individual trust follow-up.
•Ensure that all opportunities are appropriately recorded in the CRM system, ensuring accurate organisation and contact information is maintained at all times.
•Develop opportunity profiles and sales campaigns to support the achievement of annual targets
•Report on leads generated from each source each month
•Support sales with the coordination of marketing campaigns and attendees to events
•Helping with events and user groups to support customer engagement.
Account Executive Skills / Requirements:
•Experience of account management and revenue generation preferred
•Experience of telephone selling/telemarketing within the technology industry
•A track record of sales/telemarketing success gained, ideally in the healthcare sector
•Expertise in producing customer correspondence, articulating responses and follow-up to campaigns
•The ability to develop effective customer relationships at all levels
•Practised in developing opportunities and leads through professional engagement and dialogue with potential customers
•An understanding of electronic prescribing would be preferable but not essential
•A broad understanding of the NHS structure, its environment and how it operates would be preferred
