Do you have experience of working as a hands-on Studio Manager within a creative agency and relish working under pressure to traffic work through the studio? This leading creative agency, in the heart of Gloucestershire, is seeking an experienced Studio Manager with trafficking skills to join their busy studio.
Studio Manager role is working within an award-winning, creative agency in the heart of Cheltenham. Alongside overseeing the artwork team and trafficking all the jobs through the studio, it is a hands-on role whereby you will, at times when the studio is busy, be required to help artwork certain jobs, so a background or experience in artwork and Adobe Software is key. You will also be sourcing print and be fully aware of production techniques and finishes and go to press-passing for big jobs, therefore, building relationships with suppliers is paramount. You are responsible for all jobs leaving the busy studio, so having a great eye for detail is needed to ensure that all creative work leaving the studio is of a high standard.
It is paramount for this role that you have strong communication skills, a problem-solving mind set, and can foresee bottlenecks of work in the Studio before they happen. Being focused on delivering timely on all job deadlines, you will ensure that you come up with solutions to any possible problems which may arise, which may entail pushing back on account handlers, prioritising jobs when the studio is busy, or jumping on a Mac yourself to help with the artwork load.
If you can be at ease liaising directly with the artwork team, design team and account handlers to ensure the effective and timely delivery of each creative campaign, then you will certainly fit well into this award-winning team.
Being people led and having the ability to build good relationships, both internally and externally, with suppliers and able to hire and manage freelancers when workload allows, you will enjoy the buzz of being busy and managing both the studio and the traffic schedule. In return, this creative agency offers a great working environment - they have very creative offices, they like to reward their staff with weekly treats, drinks in the office and social events, so the office has a great vibe; they work hard but do reward their staff.
This creative agency is looking for an experienced Studio Manager who has experience of leading a team of artworkers whilst still being hands on creating artwork and trafficking work through a busy agency studio, so if you have experience of all of this within a creative agency environment, then please do get in touch without delay.
