Cornwall Staff Agency are looking for a talented and driven Sous chef to join our clients 4* Luxury Hotel in a lovely village Near St Austell.
My client seen as one of the leading hotels in Cornwall is looking to add strength to their kitchen team and are seeking an experienced Sous chef to help support the head chef and take over the running of kitchen opperations in the head chefs absence. The ideal candidate will be a driven individual with a great work ethic, passionate about working with fresh local seasonal ingredients and expereinced in working at a similar level.
As a Sous Chef within this picturesque hotel you will be looking to head your own section within the kitchen providing leadership and direction to the junior team beneath you. You will be working with local, fresh, seasonal produce to create stunning delicacies that will be in keeping with this hotels excellent reputation for delivering great food. along with these duties you will also be responsible with assisting in waste management, menu planning, stock control and ensure kitchen documentation is kept up to date. You will also expected to be fully capable with heading the kitchen in the absence of the head chef.
In return you will recieve an excellent salary of £22,000, tips and meals on duty along with a great staff package.
