We understand the power of being different in an ever-changing marketplace. And we know there’s strength in hiring people of different backgrounds and perspectives including race, culture, gender, spirituality, and sexual orientation. By fully embracing diversity, our people become more connected and attuned to each other, which strengthens our business and expands our possibilities.
To foster diversity within the company, we’ve established a Diversity Task Force and Diversity Work Group—two groups with the same mission. The Work Group is comprised of a broad range of employees who, among other efforts, host discussions around what diversity is, what it means for the company and how it can bring us together and make us more effective as colleagues and as community members. By contrast, the Task Force sets the tone for diversity from top management, who develops objectives, specific initiatives and goals.
