Our Client was established in 2015 and specialises in the manufacture and supply of plastic bottles.
Due to continued business expansion they are currently looking to strengthen their team and have the following exciting opportunity.
We are looking for a Team Leader/Supervisor who has the energy and character to be part of a developing company that has planned growth and development.
Supervision of the shift working with the HR Operations Manager and the Quality Manager
Experienced in mould changes, with the ability to train the blow moulding operatives on preventative maintenance
Ensuring production targets are met and labour is being controlled correctly
Assisting the Quality Manager proactively with accredited audit visits ISO90001, BRC and customer audits
With HR you shall assist with the monitoring, training and mentoring of staff
Proactively assist the quality team with the shift quality audits
Smooth running of the department to include smooth transition of job change overs
Control of tooling in and out of store area
Controlling material used for moulding/ and regrind
Movement of finished stock within the area
Liaise with the Managing Director and Croatian team regarding customer orders, expectations and purchase orders
Follow current health and safety guidelines
Working closely with maintenance to minimise any down time
Any other reasonable request
Required Skills, Experience
Experience working in plastics is essential
Will be working within a small team so must be flexible, reliable and friendly and must show team-work at all times
Must be able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
Other duties within your skill set that may be necessary to help the business to function effectively and efficiently
A permanent position working across three rotating shifts 6am - 2.00pm, 2.00pm - 10.00pm and 10.00pm - 6.00am.
The package includes paid breaks, 25 days holiday per year + bank holidays.
Company Pension Scheme.
Salary upto £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
