Our client is looking to recruit a capable and experienced worker to join the Physiotherapy team.
As a qualified Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, you can enjoy a very diverse role. They perform a wide range of surgery including orthopaedics, ENT, general surgery in addition to operating a paediatrics service. This role will involve working as part of a wider, multi-disciplinary team in the wards to rehabilitate patients and prepare for discharge.
Our clients Physiotherapists also do various outpatient work which ensures this role is continually varied and interesting due to the range of clinical challenges.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
A full induction will be provided in the first week and from there on, you can expect to work alongside experienced physiotherapists who are led by a highly engaged consultant team. Primarily, the role will involve treating musculoskeletal outpatients and a typical caseload will comprise of general sports, orthopaedic and MSK injuries and conditions. You will need to demonstrate excellent clinical reasoning whilst adhering to a rigid CPD structure. Weekly training sessions will take place as the department is keen to support the learning and development of their team. Performance objectives will be discussed from the start and you will be assisting with governance, legislations, patient satisfactions and outcome measurements. As support staff are on hand at all times, immediate contact can be achieved with MDT. A highly experienced consultant physiotherapist will support image referring rights for MRI, x-ray and ultrasound. Additional on-call hours are expected and due to this, respiratory competences are highly desirable.
This role will suit an experienced Band 7 who is a competent team player, has the desire to learn and develop whilst supporting other team members with knowledge, skills and experience. We are committed to our employees well-being through training, support and reward.
o BSc. Physiotherapy
o Experienced and qualified Musculoskeletal physiotherapist
o Minimum of a year's experience within the UK
o Flexibility in Hours (cover team absence's and annual leave)
o Desire to learn, flexible in approach and pass on own knowledge to others to help and develop the team
o Keen to work towards a post graduate qualification (PGCert or Masters)
o IRMER Trained
o Previous experience in a UK private healthcare setting
o Motivated individuals who are keen to engage within the team
