This role is working for a fast-paced, exciting company who are well established in the travel industry. They have won awards such as ‘Best in Industry’ and they are one of the UK’s leaders in their sector.
The main purpose of the role is to drive sales/your sales team and to coach and motivate them. You will manage a small team of 5 or 6 Travel Experts who respond to warm leads from customers looking to make a booking. Ideally, you should have experience in a Sales Team Leader/Supervisor type role. This role will be offered on a shift rota basis, which will include some weekend work, with teams operating from 9am - 10pm, 7 days a week.

There is a quarterly performance related bonus scheme which is dependent on both your performance and the performance of your team (on average £400-500 per quarter).

Motivate, develop and drive a team of Reservation experts to deliver the highest levels of conversion, quality. customer service and support
Manage and deliver the highest performance of shifts within the Operations Department
Work together with the other Team Managers to create a results-driven environment
Carry out 1-2-1 meetings with team members, providing regular performance updates, create development plans and recognise any training needs
Key Skills & Experience:
You will have previous experience of working in a managerial role, with a proven track record of guiding your team to achieving results whilst successfully managing change
Strong coaching and a track record of driving high performance are crucial
You will have the people skills to motivate and lead a team, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving problems and issues
You will work well in a busy environment and be flexible and adaptable to change.
Knowledge of general HR practices, and experience of working in a call centre, would be beneficial, but are not essential.
Strong communication skills – written and verbal
Organisational skills with attention to detail
