SEN Maths Teacher – SEBD – Stockport
£100 - £140 per day
PK Education’s Manchester branch are working with a dynamic special school in the Stockport area in order to recruit a creative Maths Teacher.
This special school is part of a large charity and looking for a positive and dynamic teacher who is wanting a new challenge to join their supportive staff team. The successful candidate will be required to deliver engaging Maths lessons to small groups of students across Key Stage 3 to 5. Some of the pupils who attend are Looked After Children in care and have a variety of SEN including Social Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD), mental health issues, ADHD and Attachment disorders, so you will need to have excellent behaviour management and a flexible approach. The ability to teach other subjectS would also be beneficial. You will be responsible for creating a positive and safe learning environment for all students.
This role would suit an experienced and energetic teacher with strong classroom management however NQT’s are also welcome to apply.
To be considered for the role you must have
Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).
Outstanding subject knowledge, specialising in Mathematics.
Experience working with SEBD.
Excellent behaviour management with Knowledge of a range of de-escalation techniques.
A flexible approach and calm attitude.

Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service – if you do not have a DBS registered online PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
