Scotia Heights - Stoke-On-Trent
Mixed Shifts (Days and Nights)
Nurse (RGN/RMN /RNLD)
We also consider applications for bank and both mixed days and night shifts.
We build our care and activity plans around an individual, supporting and encouraging them to be happy and fulfilled.
A specialist 60-bed care home for adults with complex needs, we provide a warm and welcoming environment.
Service users live in six 10-bed units, each boasting a dining room, loundes, and an adapted sensory bathroom. Bedrooms are decorated to suit individual tastes - we want everyone to feel comfortable in their own space.
A sensory room is accessible to all, where senses can be developed and individuals can relax through the use of music and lighting. We also have a sensory garden, with enough space for summer BBQ's and other events. The garden includes a patio area for relaxing, socialising and raised beds for gardening.
As a Registered Nurse, you will be part of this team and you will have the chance to make a real difference on a new unit, delivering high quality care to our service users, assisting them to make their own choices and assisting them in living as independently as possible. As this is a new unit, there will be great opportunities for you to develop your skills and progress to Unit Manager/Senior Nurse if that is your chosen career path.
