Job Title: Project Coordinator - Project Management Office
Salary: £24,675 - £28,329 per annum plus Market Rate Premium

The Fire & Rescue Service are looking to recruit a Project Coordinator to join their existing Project Management Office (PMO) team.
The PMO team are a central resource that provides expertise and support for all project and collaborative working within the Service. They also provide business analysis capability to support business change projects and the Service's Lean Review programme. The post holder will therefore be a key member of a motivated team, reporting directly to the Project Support Officer.
You will provide project assistance and guidance to managers and project teams in the research, planning and delivery of the Service's corporate projects. This support includes the development and upkeep of project management documentation, project plans and other project tools, as well as, supporting the process for reporting project progress for all projects in the portfolio. You are also expected to support the team in continuing to develop and promote project maturity within the Service.
You must be able to communicate to a variety of audiences verbally and in writing and be able to work on your own initiative and within a team. The applicant must possess good planning skills and will be expected to facilitate meetings, workshops and focus groups with various stakeholders and departments. You will also need to be able to plan and prioritise your own workload effectively to meet tight deadlines.
You must have experience of working in projects or within a PMO environment, and have knowledge of project management best practices, skills and approaches whilst also having a commitment to working towards qualifications in project management/support by examination.
