Product Owner required by a world-renowned tech organisation in Newbury as they continue to develop cutting edge solutions.
You'll be joining a world-renowned technology company - which may sound like a big claim. However, in this case it is 100% true. They work with some of the biggest names in technology and provide cutting edge solutions across the globe (like actually all over the world, not just a satellite European office).
They are very good to their employees, with a comprehensive benefits package, excellent salaries and genuine career development on offer.
As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for driving the technological roadmap for one of their key teams and deal with a backlog of multiple projects. You will be responsible for prioritising, adapting, changing and improving the product offering across the board.
You will play a key role in juggling various customer requirements and at the same managing multiple stakeholders up to C level. This will include planning releases and managing expectations, both internally and externally for new features/functionality.
As in any Product Owner role, you will have to be on top of any potential risks and put plans in place to mitigate these where possible.
As the go to person when it comes to the features of the products, you will put together the initial user stories, disseminate these to the team and ensure successful delivery.
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Product Owner, who has ideally worked in diverse, cross-cultural teams.
The business follows Agile methodologies, which have been slightly adapted for their needs, so again, ideally you'd have experience working in a similar environment.
Naturally, you'll be a confident communicator, both for leading your own team and also presenting to the Board and indeed customers.
As a very much added bonus, you may come from a technical, software engineering career - specifically an embedded C/C++ background.
The salary on offer is approx. £40-50k, with flexible benefits including: Private Pension, Healthcare, Bonus and Enhanced Holidays as standard.
