Payroll / Pensions Specialist c£25,000
Great opportunity for professional payroll and pensions specialist to join a small locally based finance team of this global manufacturing organisation and undertake a broad and varied role.
As the payroll expert within the business you will be responsible for the end to end monthly payroll process including uploading to SAP, checking and querying timesheets as necessary, completing various journals and reports and providing support to employees. Duties also to include RTI (including payment) and all statutory reporting including RTI, P45s, P60s an dP11D reporting.
You will also look after the administration of pensions and the management of auto-enrolment and uploading pension files to the pension provider etc.
Additionally, you will be expected to be their Expenses expert and as such approve (and query!) all UK expenses, issue cash advances and payments, post into SAP, clear down balance sheets, chase outstanding submissions and deal with staff queries.
Responsibilities will also include the administration of:
- Company credit cards
- Company cars
- Petty Cash
The successful candidate must be a real self-starter who is confident and capable of taking on the mantle of 'subject matter expert' within the business and become the 'go to' person for payroll, pensions, expenses etc.
Previous payroll experience within a manufacturing environment is essential. Experience of SAP is preferred. Strong communication skills and an ability to push back with management a must.
Ideal role to broaden skills and experience and develop personally as study support is actively encouraged.
