Part-time – 2 days per week
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Payroll and Accounts Assistant to join the busy accounts and administration department of an established and growing company.
As Payroll / Accounts Assistant you will be processing the weekly payroll for circa 115 employees, together with general accounting duties. These will include
- Maintaining the payroll system;
- Distributing wages to employees;
- Completing payroll reports for record-keeping purposes;
- Complying with relevant law and determining the company’s tax, NI and auto enrolment obligations.
- A working knowledge of SAGE Payroll and SAGE Accounts;
- Competency with spreadsheets.
- A basic understanding of PAYE, NI and auto enrolment. Familiarity with Statutory payments.
- Accounting, book-keeping and computer skills.
- Suitable skills and experience include: Payroll Clerk, Accounts Assistant, Accounts Clerk
