Our client is a fantastic, forward thinking, fully integrated marketing agency who work with some of the biggest brands in their markets. They brought the PPC in-house last year and have been growing and developing that side of the business ever since. They are looking for someone to come in and take ownership of the overall direction for the PPC side of the agency in the hope of meeting current client demand for it as well as gaining more client interest in PPC.
You will be working very closely with the rest of the team to ensure the clients expectations for PPC are consistent throughout. For example, you could find yourself liaising with the content team to ensure that high-quality ad text is being written to give your advert the best chance of survival against the competitors.
You’ll also be going to client meetings and educating from a PPC perspective. You’ll have a portfolio of 5 clients with one of them being on a project basis, but the agency has around 60 clients all together, all of which they are eager to educate on PPC – this is where you come in!
You’ll be setting the PPC strategies and implementing the PPC campaigns, which will mainly be display and AdWords as the paid social is outsourced. The budgets you will be managing will vary from £1k to unlimited but on average they come in at about £16k to £26k per month. They literally have a client who spends whatever profit they gain from paid search back into paid search.
