Post: Learning and Development Manager
Hours: 22.5 - 30 hours per week (negotiable)
Pay: £24,745 - £27,000 (FTE and negotiable within salary range)
This is an exciting role within the learning and development division of Cloverleaf Advocacy, Cloverleaf Connect.
The successful candidate will continue to build on the existing foundations and culture for learning already embedded across the organisation. You will be responsible for developing our organisation wide Learning and Development programme. The programme must drive improvement in performance and behaviours and grow the skills necessary to meet the charity’s strategic priorities.
The successful candidate will need to work well with senior managers to identify, understand, develop and deliver the right training to the right people at the right time. You will positively influence the development of learning across the organisation. You will develop a suite of learning and development opportunities, including recognised qualifications in health and social care and the advocacy qualification.
You will ensure that learning programmes are marketed externally as well as internally with a view to generating income for the charity. You will manage the work and functions of the Qualification and Assessment Centre including maximising income generation opportunities; this will require promotion of standards, reputation and of the business of Cloverleaf Connect’s Qualification and Assessment Centre.
Some of the key functions of the role are to:
Lead and ensure high performance of the Cloverleaf Connect team in line with Cloverleaf Advocacy’s values and management principles, ensuring that all work is aligned with the annual strategy and objectives
Be designated Head of Centre responsible for the compliance of Cloverleaf Connect’s qualification centre in line with regulatory and awarding organisation standards and requirements
Oversee the effective delivery of learning programmes and evaluate their quality and impact – we want to ensure that this informs our approach to improvement, development and implementation of future solutions
Ensure management and quality assurance systems are in place, maintained and reviewed to support the effective and efficient operation of the qualifications centre
Provide support, advice and guidance for all Learning and Development activities - our people and their skills are at the heart of our work
Deliver training where appropriate.

Permanent post, subject to a 6 month probationary period and annual performance review.
