Response provides a range of support to people that experience severe and enduring mental health needs, and we are looking for a brand new team to work within our new 10 bed, 24/7 supported home in Thatcham that is due to open in May 2018.
We are now looking to recruit a full team who can assist with the day-to-day recovery of the residents and encourage them to live independently. We are seeking to employ a Deputy Manager.
The duties within any role vary from day to day. Their residents are individuals and they all deserve to be treated as such. Some of the core duties within the house will include:
• assisting and supporting with the daily management of the house;
• complete regular staff supervisions and ensure the staff team attend regular training to help progress their continuous professional development and careers;
• provide support and advice to the staff team in line with organisational policies and procedures, leading by example;
• support, encourage and prompt residents with their medication;
• ensuring that house rules are kept and adhered to as well as providing a safe and respectful environment.
You will be required to work 37 hours per week across equally distributed shifts that will include weekends and sleep-ins. Awake Nights may also be required.
Their main priority for these roles is to find people that can live their values every day. Experience within a care or mental health setting is desirable, qualifications are advantageous, however, they have a Learning & Development team who are happy to support you and your personal development and work to progress your career with them!
