The Deputy Manager Role
We are looking for Deputy Manager who has excellent leadership skills. You will support individuals with severe and enduring mental health needs to live their lives in a positive way, and assist them to improve their physical and mental well-being and promote and encourage as much independence as possible.
You will provide frontline day to day management of the Oxford Care and Support Service, working in partnership with the Area Manager, as well as providing line management and supervision to a small team of support staff.
You will have a duty of care to safeguard and protect vulnerable residents/potential residents and manage crisis situations when required and Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams and carers to ensure where possible that family and friends are fully involved in the creation of bespoke support plans that guide the recovery of our residents.
You will also organise, attend and facilitate professional meetings when needed to ensure a cohesive and shared approach is being adopted by all agencies involved in supporting our residents.
Requirements for the Deputy Manager Position
The ideal candidate for this position will have a track record of working with service users in the Mental Health field and will ideally have previous experience with your own client caseload.
• £24,500 - £28,000 per annum (depending on experience)
