Contracts Manager - Modular Construction, Salary up to c£55k + Car & Benefits, Based anywhere in the UK covering contracts nationwide with a requirement to attend meetings in Leeds.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join a market leading provider of design & build volumetric / modular / off-site construction solutions. The successful candidate will have experience as a Contracts Manager experience ideally from a Tier 1 Construction company and of managing contracts of around £1-10m in value. Preferably qualified to degree level (minimum HND) be a Member of CIOB or working their way towards Corporate Membership.
The purpose of the role is to work closely with the commercial and design teams to complete projects on time with a quality finish and maximise profits. To administer Design and Build Contracts with a detailed involvement from receipt of order to the settlement of the final account and receipt of the Making Good Defects Certificate. Contracts typically within the healthcare, education, retail / commercial sectors with contract values of around £1-10m.
Contracts Manager Key duties:• Ensuring that all key deadlines are achieved.
• Ensuring quality of work is of a very high standard.
• Establish good relationships with clients and all key stakeholders with a view to securing repeat business.
• Strict control and adherence for all Health and Safety matters
• Manage Clients expectations
• Coordinate the design
• Manage subcontractors and coordinate the works
• Programme the works
• Chair meetings
