Our client is a major provider of housing, regeneration, support and commercial services across Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire.
They are currently seeking a Commercial Property Coordinator to coordinate and lead on the vacating of market rent properties. This will include the serving of notices where required to the release of deposits from the Deposit Protection Service (DPS).
Other duties will include checking in and signing up new tenants, ensuring that they have read and understood the terms of the tenancy and the legal requirements. You will also collate an inventory at the beginning of each tenancy detailing the condition of the property and age/condition of the white goods, carpets, flooring and other furnishings following the APIP (Association of Professional Inventory Providers) guidelines.
Further to this you will monitor and organise the gas safety tests, electrical safety tests and portable appliance tests in line with current legislation and the Group’s health & safety guidelines.
The successful candidate must be educated to 'O' / GCSE level or equivalent or qualified by experience with knowledge and experience of housing and tenancy law.
Demonstrable record of delivering excellent customer service and excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate with a variety of audiences is required. A competent user of Microsoft including Word, Excel and Outlook is also essential.
Due to the nature of the role a full driving licence and use of a car for work purposes; some out of hours working may be required.
