What it’s about
These are exciting times for Cambridge Assessment English as we look to implement a range of strategic initiatives and to modernise our systems and strive to find creative and innovative ways to improve our products and services to customers. To enable us to meet the ever increasing demand for our services, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Business Change Project Manager, who will thrive in this changing environment and is motivated by delivering excellent customer service.
The role is situated within the Business Support Services department of Cambridge Assessment English, within which there are around 25 staff members working on a wide range of projects to deliver business change across Cambridge Assessment English.
What you’ll be doing
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects and their teams of project assistants, business analysts, and staff with other project related skill-sets. You will manage the delivery of process revisions, system developments and product support activity as required. You will also engage with and ensure effective delivery by internal and external suppliers.
The role-holder will be responsible for the use of good PPM practice in the projects they manage and for driving project activity to ensure successful delivery and business change within agreed budgets and timescales.
This role requires the ability to engage, and build excellent relationships with, internal senior stakeholders and governance bodies across the business, as well as external stakeholders and customers, understand their strategic business drivers and requirements and ensure that their expectations are met.

Ideally educated to degree level, or equivalent, you will have the ability to analyse and understand complex business processes, along with a demonstrable track record of successful project management and implementing business change. You will have excellent relationship management, negotiation and communication skills and will be able to influence colleagues, suppliers and decision makers effectively. You will also be energetic, innovative and organised, and able to work to tight deadlines, together with the capacity to add value to the unit through dynamic collaboration, lateral thinking and creative problem solving.
