Job Title: Bookkeeper
Location: Bury, Lancashire
Salary: £14,000pa for 20 hours / week
The Company: An established family owned and run company who operate within the Interiors sector, a distributor of furniture and accessories. A small friendly office environment with a mix of ages and genders.
Job Description: Recruiting for a part-time book keeper who can take responsibility for a variety of book-keeping tasks, including but not limited to:
- Balancing and maintaining accurate company ledgers (manually and using an accounting system)
- Checking company bank statements
- Processing sales invoices, receipts and payments
- Paying supplier invoices and tracking bank balances
- Matching purchase orders with invoices
- Completing VAT returns
The Person: You will have extensive experience of working as the sole book-keeper within a successful organisation. You must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and be prepared to provide administrative and clerical support as needed. Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principals is essential.
Salary Details: Basic salary of £14,000 for 20 hours work per week, 4 hours per day Mon – Fri.
