Accuracy Checking Technician / Pharmacy Technician / Dispensing Assistant / Trainee Dispensing Assistant
Our client now has a number of opportunities for Accuracy Checking Technicians, Pharmacy Technicians, Dispensing Assistants and Trainee Dispensing Assistants to join them across England, Scotland and Wales.
Your overall responsibility will be to participate in the whole dispensing process ensuring to always deliver courteous and effective customer service and establishing and developing long term relationships with customers and healthcare professionals.
You will be required to assist in the delivery of all commercial pharmacy services where appropriate, including blood pressure measuring and weight management as well as maintaining administrative records. Additionally, you will effectively manage pharmaceutical stock and equipment, including the administration of receiving, storing, maintaining and issuing. You may be required to deliver healthcare advice and signpost where necessary. You will be expected to assist in the sale of medicines and other merchandise when required.
In order to be successful, you must be registered with the GPhC and be able to provide a membership number upon request. Also you must have an NVQ3 in Pharmacy Services or Accredited equivalent qualification and experience of working in a customer focused environment.
